RDFL Provides Free On-Site Parking to Tenovus in Cardiff
Since its launch in early February, the Tenovus Mobile Unit has been providing chemotherapy and other cancer support services throughout South East Wales. It is the first unit of its kind in the UK. Chemotherapy is currently being offered by the unit weekly in Cwmbran. In addition, support on welfare rights and social care to people affected by cancer is offered from locations in Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil.
The unit has been designed with two expandable pods, creating a large useable space inside. Setting up and dismantling the unit takes about two hours. Tenovus are very grateful to RDFL for providing a secure location to park this valuable facility overnight between the visits, and RDFL is happy to help with such a worthy cause.
