|
CASE STUDY • RDFL were asked to manage a brand new 220,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility, from green field site to fully operational in 5 months. • RDFL asked to recruit the work force, on a casual basis, to meet the seasonal demands of Festive Productions’ warehousing and picking operation. • Inbound containers from worldwide sources are de-stuffed, products checked and located within the 15,000 warehouse locations. • RDFL send samples of all products to the Q.C. department as they arrive on site for quality assessment. • RDFL receive and warehouse stock produced on site, in order that manufactured product is available for inclusion in outgoing deliveries. • RDFL provide on site management that offers full consignment tracking, P.O.D. administration, error notification, and weekly key performance indicators. • In the ‘off-season’, RDFL concentrate on improving the operating systems, as well as meeting many of the Festive customers at the annual Trade Shows in order to gain a better understanding of their needs, and thus provide an even better delivery service. |
