RDFL have worked with Xerox Office Supplies for over 12 years, and in that time have established themselves as the primary logistics provider for all their UK based warehousing and transport requirements.
RDFL store approximately 6,500 pallets of products at all their depots, allowing Xerox a late order cut-off time, as product is stored close to the final delivery point. RDFL are responsible for managing the stock for Xerox, and as required, move stock from one depot to another, to ensure stock availability at all depots, at all times.
Xerox require a very high service level, driven by their customers in a very competitive market place, and this usually means delivering product to the point of need, even if this is on the twelfth floor of a central London office building. Therefore RDFL operate a varied fleet of delivery vehicles, all equipped with tail-lifts, to ensure that any delivery point is accessible. 2 man deliveries are also accommodated on a daily basis, ensuring that the receiving customer has no involvement with the unloading process. Other special delivery points can be catered for, including security conscious sites such as prisons and Ministry of Defence establishments. RDFL also provide a UK centralised pick / pack operation for a high volume of small orders that are dispatched via nominated parcel carriers.

With over 140,000 deliveries per annum, the Xerox contract requires a very focused approach to service level reporting. RDFL provide XOS with a suite of management reports and KPI's, and both parties take a pro-active approach in each others businesses to maintain a culture of continual improvement.
